The Kentucky House has approved House Bill 5, which gradually lowers property tax for distilleries from 2026 to 2039. Supporters say the tax break is necessary to save jobs in a growing industry, while opponents argue that it could reduce revenue for county services, such as fire departments and sheriff's offices. Pinhook Has Announced The Launch Of The Vertical Series Rye 7 Year

The Pinhook Vertical Series Rye 7 Year is a carefully crafted spirit that has been aged for seven years to achieve its distinct flavor profile. It's interesting that the only factor affecting the aroma and flavor of the spirit is the aging process, given that the mash bill, barrels, and fill dates are all the same across the releases. The blend of 28 barrels and the high proof of 105.12 certainly make it a unique and potentially bold choice for whiskey enthusiasts. The aromas of “caramel, orange zest, cedar, and clove,” followed by flavors of “chocolate, root beer, cardamom, and tobacco” sound like a complex and intriguing combination. It will be exciting to see how this latest release is received by whiskey aficionados. For more information, visit
